The Ergo Lightweight Wheelchair is intended for an older child or larger child who has outgrown the Major Elite pushchair. From say 7 to 14 years old, although it does have a maximum capacity of 100kg.

The Ergo Lightweight Wheelchair has 6″ plastic castor front wheels and 20″ spoked rear wheels with comfortable contoured hand grips and puncture proof foam filled tyres.

They operate well on smooth surfaces not rough ground.

The S-Ergo Seat is a curved ergonomic design which helps to resist sliding, provides pressure relief, improves posture and comfort.

The lightly padded seat fabric contains Aegis microbe shield permanently bonded antimicrobial barrier.

The moulded armrests are contoured and padded.

The Ergo Lightweight Wheelchair comes with a 2 Year Frame Warranty, for the original owner. Seat Fabric, Wheels, Footrests and all other parts attached to the frame have a 1 Year warranty.

Whilst the Ergo Lightweight Wheelchair may be used for someone with special needs the seat may be unsuitable if they require postural management support, if in doubt please seek the advice of your physiotherapist.

The Ergo Lightweight Wheelchair has not been ‘crash tested’ and is not suitable for transporting a child in a vehicle. However if you need a Crash Tested pushchair we can supply a very similar alternative.
